Good morning,

the first comments are starting to roll in about taking the 10 Tools Challenge. How do we integrate learning a new tool into already busy working lives?  That is a really good question, and I know many teachers feel overwhelmed by new technologies and tools.  It can be difficult to decide what to prioritise. To help you, I suggest you work you way through the questions contained in this post on developing graduate profiles, Enhanced Learning.

Questions

  1. What are the current trends in enhanced learning in the workplace of your graduates?
  2. How does your vocation or professional body view continued professional learning?
  3. What practices are emerging in your vocation or profession?
  4. What international standards are in place to support enhanced learning in your vocation or profession?

  5. What does an expert in your discipline do to enhance their learning.
  6. What technologies does your profession or vocation use to enhance learning.

What does the expert in your field do?  What do you want to be able to do? Why? What tool might help?  Can you design your own learning curriculum with that tool? If not, we can help you.

Does anyone else have some suggestions for busy teachers?
