Where Teaching and Learning Matter
there is a lot of interest on campus around student portfolios. I think the easiest way of getting everyone together and to collaborate is to create a group. It is interesting that the rise in student portfolios is coinciding with the implementation of the Living Curriculum strategy at Unitec. Portfolios allow students to demonstrate the key ideas of the LC, autonomy, conversation, discipline and enquiry. In fact, what better way for students to evidence not only what they have learned but how they have learned and their new skills and attributes.
I am going to post up a variety of resources, and encourage you to contribute papers, websites, examples etc to assist your colleagues design, manage and evaluate an assessment using student portfolios.
Please invite your colleagues who are interested in the same subject to join, and share.
Kind regards Diana
