Are you working as an adult educator and find your students need help with reading, writing and/or maths?  The National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education is suitable for teachers of adults who want to support their students to succeed in an academic environment where language, literacy and numeracy are critical skills. In this programme learners develop a toolkit of resources, knowledge and methods to support learners develop critical academic skills.   Learners become part of a dynamic community of adult educators striving to improve their teaching.

Once you have successfully completed this programme, you are invited to apply for 15 credits in the Graduate Diploma in Higher Education.

Admission Requirements:

General

This course can be taken as 30  credits towards the National Certificate in Adult Literacy & Numeracy Education or as a Certificate in Proficiency.
